My worker refused to fix my hours for child care so I'm left paying out of pocket. She outright called me a scam artist. I'm just so appalled. They don't treat you like human beings.
this is the most uncoridinated dept. i have ever dealt with... when ii lived in shiawassee co. i never had one single problem. they just stop my food stamps for no good reason bc i believe they are not out to help the ppl but out to get the ppl..if the had zero stars thats what i would give them..even the supervisor dont know what she is doing..im pissed tosay the least..i work i pay my bills and all i get is snap benefits so i can eat...i have went hungry for 3 months bc they wanna hurt the ppl of genessee co. instead of help them.
I spoke to a woman named Cee Humphry, I was calling about a resident since I am in property management. This woman gave me detailed information about my residents case when she had not been authorized to do so, she then called my resident a pain in her backside because she had made multiple calls to resolve an issue. When I told her she was unprofessional and I asked to speak to her supervisor, she told me I was now a pain in her backside and hung up on me. Horrible customer service, security breach and completely rude and disrespectful! i feel for anyone that has to deal with this person.
Can hardly put a star on this review. Unable to reach Ms. Rider, my case worker. Have left numerous messages for her and there has been no response. Very frustrating when it is requested that I report a change in income. How do I do that?
Poor communications; bad attitude from workers, phone calls are never, ever returned when you call your case worker; letters stating the case worker will call at a given date and time are always wrong or the caseworker never holds up their end of the appointment; cancelled for no reason, the case worker doesn't seem to give a darn about their clients and does nothing to help those in need. A shameful situation at best and gross negligence with misconduct by the employed workers whose job it is to assist people. As a tax payer I am appalled at the treatment those in need receive from this office and it's "workers" and by workers I mean people truly on the government payroll who either are too overburdened with cases or simply only care that their paycheck goes through. For anyone thinking the DHHS, SNAPP, and other social programs are the problem they are not the problem; the problem is the abuse and corruption of the people paid to assist others that don't do their job.
