Less than zero stars should be an option here. A more appropriate name would be "should never move" . Completely unsafe vehicles. We are currently driving home from a Washington DC trip with two busses full of eighth graders and parents after having endured two vehicles with smelly, barely working bathrooms and one that became a veritable airless, moving sauna that never had a working air conditioner. While our driver Alonzo was superb, his colleague, who was perpetually lost, continuously, stubbornly, ignored efforts to help him navigate, making us extremely late for most tour stops. While we understand that "things happen", this bus was clearly sadly in disrepair well before we were subjected to it's horrors. A repairman was not sent to our hotel for 3 days and not until after repeated phone calls to the tour guide company who hired them as they appeared to be unresponsive to their own driver and to my call to the "emergency line". And oh, did I mention that we are currently driving through a rain/snow mix, at night and that we are wiping the condensation off of the window for the driver because the defrost is broken? Hope we actually make it home...
On the Move has done a few trips for Route 23 Tours. Their drivers were very professional and the buses were nice too. I look forward to working with them on future trips.
Our bus driver was very unprofessional. He did not know where we were going for our three day tour and also asked us to stop at his home to drop off money for his girlfriend. He drove us to his house in flint to do that. He then got on the highway and as we were about 5 miles down the road, proceeded to grab the garbage can behind him and throw up in it. He then refused to stop and we insisted he stop and finally he did. We asked him to get off at the next exit and he again was initially refusing. Finally he got off and stopped at the mcds on miller road. When we called the company they said he was fine, but there was no way we were letting him drive the bus any further. Finally, they were able to "find" a driver to take us to kalamazoo where we transferred to a different company. The bus was disgusting...old and no ammenities. No emergency exits if we had needed to get out if he had driver off the road into the valley. It was very scary. I would definitely not ever use this company!!!!
Absolutely terrible experience we are currently broke down and have had nothing but lies from the company. Waiting over 2 hours and still no second bus. No one will even talk to the bus driver from the company.
