Do not rent a truck from this location! They do not inspect their trucks. We picked one up and were moving from Flint to NC. The trip that was supposed to take 12 hours took 5 days! We broke down on the expressway before even getting out of Mi, sat on the road for 5 hours before they sent out a rescue truck. The wheels blew off the back of our rental truck, almost killed my son who was driving the truck. A semi missed him by inches when this happened. When the wrecker came to tow the rental truck, he said we were lucky that it didn't flip! Even the wrecker guy told us that we would not have to pay for the rental. It was as he saw it, negligence on budget; for not putting the wheels on correctly!! The truck was inspected again the next morning by someone else from the wrecker and he also stated, we were lucky to be alive and budget was definately at fault. We sat in a hotel for 2 days, before being able to leave and get back on the road. When all said and done the company not one time even sent an apology nor compensate for renting the truck in the first place! NEVER RENT FROM BUDGET...they will make your trip hell!
