I asked as politely as possible, if she could maintain focus on completing her sale and THAT ALONE was enough to set her off into a RAGE, dropping relentless f-bombs in front of my two children, telling me it should be my funeral we’re going to. Where’s management? Where is security? This woman just stood there for several minutes belittling me and the color of my skin, making threats on my life and pouring out as much negativity and hate onto me and my children as possible — idle staff and other customers just stood and watched the spectacle.
Not bad for Christmas eve. Every cashier station was rolling along quickly. Store was kinda messy. But that's expected during Christmas mad rush to buy last minute presents.
The one store we can get almost everything from basic needed items like milk, egg, vegetables to automobile items. They also have their own products in food products named great value with almost a cheaper price compared to that of similar product of different brand. Also there have many house hold products named Mainstays.
The Store Manager of this store is a such a gracious women. She really looked out for my situation and prevented me from driving to another store. The toy Department Manager Donyetta was super in helping us find what we needed and went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that we were taken care of. Kudos to both of these outstanding women going beyond to take care of my family.
I stopped in this morning just to get a few necessary missing accessories for my kids’ outfits: a white shirt, a tie and some tights. (Where was the self-checkout?) The woman checking out in front of me has about twelve items, though with one not ringing up to her “claimed” sale price, we need a manager and the transaction is already getting closer to 15 minutes. Then the woman starts speaking to the cashier about where she’s from and some good sales she has gotten, seemingly about to begin a five minute, one-way conversation (a monologue), ignoring the fact there are several people waiting to check out behind her.
The cashier apologized, though I don’t fault her for this (clearly deranged) woman’s transgressions. Management (on an expected management salary) was nowhere to be found and there was zero security. This woman did finally exit the store after running out of things to say, but you’ll never guess who was waiting outside as I walked out through the exit, hoping to get a few more jabs in, I suppose.
The other reviewer wasn’t kidding about the wait times, but this particular store has much more to offer than long waits, but don’t get too excited. I’m giving one star because I couldn’t give less and I did honestly I get what I came to find.
I've been taking my family here to get a fresh-cut tree for years now. I love their whole operation. No line or long wait to get pictures with Santa (Mrs. Clause too), donuts and hot cocoa, tractor train ride around the farm for the kids, bon fire pits, and very reasonably priced holiday centerpieces, wreaths, and of course trees.
In this overall unsafe city, chain businesses *must* take special effort to safeguard their patrons, or those of us simply looking to find what we need, pay what we owe and leave, are not going to give you any business. Your more likely customer will become shoplifters or loiterers. If one of your honest and faithful customers is shot or stabbed on your premises, you can expect a lawsuit, but truthfully, NO ONE wants the situation to escalate to that.
