- Game center: 3 wii system, & 3 ps3's
*** Laundry/Dryer: Both Cost $1.50 to run the machine!
*** Please bring your own pool sticks, you can observe all the pool sticks during the TOUR to get a second opinion.
- 2 pool table than smaller than 8 ft. (Bring your own pool stick, because all the pool sticks that was provided been previously broken and none have been replaced.)
- Nice open kitchen on first floor (fyi, I was only allow to cook for 30 mins before I got kicked out and give up my spot. - I'm not sure if this place is racist or prejudice to me?. I notice RA used more than 1 hr especially hosting there party events. I guess it's the perks for them if you work at Riverfront.
Security at front desk never knows what is going on in building.
*** Receptionist *** - I have problem with key-card accessing into the building because my card does not work properly. Just be-aware they need to verify 15 mins - 20 mins, you may be charge $25.00 because you can not get into your room. (Luckly, I have a good roomate and willing to unlock the door for me).
How you can avoid fees that may lose your $200.00 deposit.
*** Fyi - ph #'s and schedule !!! *** save yourself from a $25.00 fee for lockout.
- If you are a University of Michigan/Flint student and studying business - the classes are on the 2nd floor connected to "School of Management".
- Receptionist lies to residents a lot, when coming down to Banquet event center. They force residents to who park in riverfront walked across the street at night to main office. Which is very inconvienent. They post the sign and ***STATED THE DOORS are BROKEN*** (Don't believe them!!!) I use my M-CARD (UofM/Flint Student - access into riverfront). I feel bad for the residents who carry 3-4 bag of groceries down into the first floor and deal with event that going on.
- Mediocre workout place
Skywalk entrance rarely works for non U of M Flint students even though I am a resident. Restrictions on guests staying the night - for $1500 a tri-semester i should be able to have who ever in my apartment there is no oven in the apartments and you do not even get to chose your room. And the spiders are huge and EVERRRYWHERE. Looks beautiful at first glance but the people and price make very ugly
The only redeeming factor was the Security guards, now that their gone it's absolute garbage.
*** Riverfront is very stupid for posting person FIRST & LAST NAME right infront of their door *** YOUR PRIVACY IS NO LONGER WITH YOU, especially when they post all the residents name infront of their door.
*** Get acquainted with your roomates *** - When you forgot your key card, they can be there to assist you when needed.
This place sucks in every way. It is like a prison and ridiculous overpriced. Almost everything is out of order and the staff just a big joke. It is a ripp off and I can highly recommend not to stay there !!! Even one star is way more than this place deserves!!!
Things they do not tell you?
*** $25.00 is alot, especially when I am a poor college student ***
- Game Center:
I lived here while attending college. My apartment/dorm was really nice. Access to the parking ramp was very convenient. The front counter staff was friendly and helpful. On-location laundry was very nice.
Perks:
Rude security guards
Cons:
Over priced
*** Pool table - I mean, how can someone be so gross leaving gum inside the pocket. ***
- Small workout gym: lights always flicker at night during work out. Equipment needs to be replaced & really need a hand sanitizer bottle or cleaning. - Completely unsanitary!
