I am very good friends with Jan and Harvey Eisman (the owners of this establishment) and I can tell you from personal experience how the store works. Without ordering the piece out of a book, there are not gold plated items in the showcases. So, either you are a liar or the jeweler you took it to sell it to is a complete idiot.
