Nice when the weather isn't. Otherwise crowded and noisy in that Flint sort of way... Too much urban traffic and the resulting mess and noise. There are seagulls everywhere but no one says much when you kill all of them you can.
Great beach with a large playstructure, splash pad and bathrooms. Free admission, and great views. We went for fireworks. Nice display
Was told it is against the law to swim with my dog because he could disembowel me. Then was talked down to like I'm stupid. We were harassed more than once by the park because we happen to have a pitbull with us. The people with the collie didn't get harassed for being in the water with their dog. Not going back there ever again.
Was very clean when we went last summer has great covered picnic areas, a splash pad for the kids swing set area the swim area needs to be bigger though go out a lil deeper for bigger kids.
Well kept. Grass mowed. Feels safe.
