Dodds-Dumanois is a beautiful funeral home with victorian decor as well as being the oldest funeral home in Genesee County. The funeral director, Melissa Butts, along with the rest of the staff are very honest and caring individuals. My family has had several funerals through them throughout the years and I would highly recommend them.

The building is old and absolutelystunning in decor while the old architecture remains preserved. This funeral home will make you feel as if you are the only family they serve while you are in their care.
Awful place. First they got the obituary wrong for the Flint Journal then they submit a picture with a big black mark on it and try to blame the family for it yet its correct and clear on their website. They let a homeless person come in and wander around even kissing our deceased with no one in the greeting area to moniter we had to get her out ourselves.Then they print the cheapest holy cards ever with a terrible grainy photo and give us the wrong persons flowers, thats after they break an angel on an arrangement and lose another. Im appalled by the unprofessional shoddy funeral we had to pay cash on the spot for. Oh an of couse they did not offer any sort of reimbursement or accept responsibility for anything. I will NEVER recommend this shady business. If I could give negative stars I would.

He drove the limo and he could see that some of the grandchildrenwere struggling, so he purposely hung with them, told them jokes, got their mind of stuff, and had them laughing! What a blessing an asset he is to this wonderful estaishment.

Dodds-Dumanois offered incredible services to my family this past spring for my sister Tina's passing. Melissa the funeral director and all the members of her staff were absolutely a blessing during such a difficult time for myself, siblings and parents. From the initial phone call, to face-to-face meetings, up until the very end of the process; the kindness and thoroughness of these individuals was above and beyond. In addition to the people, the location is gorgeous; an enormous Victorian era building on a quiet street. Add into the equation that they are one of the most reasonably priced in all of Genesee County. Thank you Melissa and staff, keep up the excellence.
